This is not a new concept, and we’ve discussed it before on a previous article – modern designers have simply put a practical spin on things. Waist training is a gradual process of waist reduction using a latex waist cincher or corset ,Also known as waist cinching this practice came to prominence during Victorian times.  For medical use,”Belly wraps” were initially used for patients with back pain, and later for recovering liposuction patients. The compression helps to improve posture by increasing abdominal support.

I have since shrunken out of my compression body suit and waist band, and graduated to an aggressive waist trainer. This trainer contains boning, like a corset (because it is pretty much the begginner’s version of one), and creates an hourglass shape by slowly ‘cinching’ the waistline. I chose the aggressive latex vest, because I can exercise in it and sweat out all the toxins absorbed throughout the day.

Typically, results can be seen by the second week of consistently wearing the waist trainer – 8 to 10 hours per day. Proper eating and hydration are crucial to seeing desired results.

Currently, I have noticed a two inch decrease in my waist and I have been wearing it for 8hrs on my second day. When I remove the vest, my waist is still significantly more defined.
